Dan is an attorney with Williamson Law Group, where his practice focuses on government contracts and complex commercial transactions. Dan advises and supports a diverse range of federal government contractors and subcontractors on a broad spectrum of operational, compliance and regulatory issues, and assists in nearly all aspects of government contracting.

His cases have involved identifying and resolving contract disputes and litigating claims and bid protests before the US Court of Federal Claims, the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals, the Government Accountability Office, SBA’s Office of Hearings and Appeals, and other various federal and state contracting agencies. Dan has also successfully handled suspension and debarment matters before various Suspension and Debarment Officials and Acquisition Integrity Offices involving both corporations and individuals, allowing clients to resume working for or on behalf of the US government.

In addition to his litigation and suspension and debarment practice, Dan also counsels companies on complex transactional matters, including business formation strategies and organizational schemes, drafting corporate bylaws and LLC operating agreements, teaming agreements, joint ventures, and mentor-protégé agreements, M&A deal structuring and due diligence, and disclosure schedules.

Dan advises clients on government contracts compliance obligations, including facility security clearance issues, export control requirements, and restrictions on providing or using certain telecommunications and video surveillance services or equipment. Dan also assists clients in submitting Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests and thwarting FOIA requests for protected or confidential business records.

Dan’s practice also assists government contractors in conducting internal investigations to address government contracts compliance issues or False Claims Act allegations if they arise, including making preemptive voluntary disclosures or mandatory disclosures.
